A seventeen year old romantic poet who committed suicide, best known for a collection of poems he wrote udner the name of Thomas Rowley. Living poverty and verging on starvationhe poisoned himself with arsenic, later elevated to the status of tragic hero by french poet Alfred de Vigny.
